Missions can be within our local body, out in our community, outside our community or even in another country.

Missions in any capacity requires someone to be FAT...

Faithful - Faithful to God, His word and trusting Him (not the circumstances or what we "see") for the results

Available -Surrendering yourself to God's use in in the lives of others for His purpose & glory

Teachable - Have a humble submissive and teachable spirit

Within our local body for the purpose glorifying God

There are so many needs. For starters, get to know one another and ask questions. Put on Observant Eyes. Put yourself in another's shoes. Make known that you would like to make yourself available to a particular need that you observe. Note that there are times when a person can be shy and feel like they may be putting someone else out by a particular burden they are faced with. Sometimes, all it takes is to show genuine persistent compassion.  Wednesday evening service provides opportunity to hear announcements and be informed of specific needs. Also see the "Prayer Prompter" distributed on Wednesday evenings. If you have questions, contact your Deacon or Pastor for more details on how you might be serving in our local body.

Outside our  church building for the purpose of glorifying God:

Missions outside our church building is more or less the FAT extension of Missions within our local body.  Contact your Deacon or Pastor if you have sincere interest to make yourself available to needs outside our local church body or outside our country.   As a local body we send forth our own. We also support other missionaries who are voted on for support by our congregation, after meeting with Pastor, Deacons and Mission committee.
